Along with many friends and colleagues, CiminoCare will be at the Elk’s Lodge No. 6 in Sacramento on Thursday, June 18, 2026, for Del Oro’s 21st Annual Cruise Around the World Cook-off and Fundraiser.
We’re proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of this event as the mission behind it reflects something we hold central to everything we do—supporting the people who show up every day to improve the lives of older adults. This fundraiser directly benefits Del Oro programs assisting family caregivers through education, respite services, and support. Mark Cimino currently serves as the president of the Del Oro board of directors. He reminds us that “quality care and services don’t happen in isolation. They happen through relationships, in partnerships, and in community. Events like this one make that community tangible.”
The evening is designed to take you on a trip around the world through food, culture, and connection. CiminoCare is pleased to be bringing a little piece of Italy to the event this year. Stop by the “CiminoCare Italian Bakery” for delicious cookies, tiramisu, and spumoni ice cream. Think of it as a small, sweet reason to come by to say hello.
Beyond the booth, this is an event worth attending. Talented chefs will be competing for the title of Cook-off Champion, and the whole venue will be alive with the flavors, aromas, and energy of cuisines from around the globe. The food is the draw, but the cause is the reason to stay.
CiminoCare’s presence here isn’t incidental.
