Adina Nitu is celebrating 15 years as a committed team member of CiminoCare. She has spent her entire U. S. career at CiminoCare serving in a variety of roles over the years, “doing what was needed for residents”. Always known for her willingness to jump in and help anyone, Adina’s ability to go anywhere she was needed has helped CiminoCare to expand over the last several years. Adina was promoted to Regional Director in 2019 overseeing the Sacramento area communities.
“Adina is recognized for her strong work ethic, her meticulous focus on quality assurance, and her ability to mentor new leadership. It is both and honor and a pleasure to worked side-by side with Adina and we all look forward to many more years of service together,” said Mark Cimino, CEO of CiminoCare.
Adina was born in Bucharest, Romania. She moved to the U.S. in 2005 with her husband, son and dog. Though being trained as a licensed nurse in Romania, when she arrived in the U.S, she first sought to find a job as a caregiver. Courtyard Terrace in Sacramento was blessed that she applied. She was hired on the spot, and thus started her first job in the U.S. While Adina effectively and humbly went about her duties, the CiminoCare leadership team noticed that she had the work ethic, the smarts, and the leadership skills to take on more responsibility. Over the years, has been promoted to Shift Manager, Resident Care Coordinator, and Administrator at Courtyard Terrace, Walnut House and other communities in need of strong leadership. She has this ‘can do’ attitude that allows her to go into any community and build strong teams and quality care. Adina has been instrumental in aligning new acquisitions for CiminoCare and integrating the CiminoCare culture in new communities.
What Adina likes most about her job, “ I’m a people person, I enjoy being around the staff and residents, and the family members. Connecting and communicating with everyone is what I love to do. And I am especially passionate about caring for residents in Memory Care, they have my heart.”
