Experienced Memory Care for Seniors
Customizable Plans for Every Level of Care
Orangeburg Manor is a top-rated Assisted Living Community in Modesto, CA, specializing in Memory Care, including expert treatment for Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, and related cognitive disorders. The happiness and overall well-being of our residents is number one for us, and has been since we opened our doors in 1989.
Our signature Level Care Plans allow us to accommodate seniors with various stages of Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetes, incontinence, and more. Every level of care is designed to allow our residents to age with dignity, comfortably, in a space that feels like home. Our age-in-place system provides stability and peace of mind for each of our residents and their families.
We know our residents do not want to be patients in a skilled nursing facility just because they have a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other type of dementia. People living with a dementia diagnosis are more comfortable in a stable and familiar environment where their needs are met. Our program provides this stability. We believe in gentle and graceful transitions as care needs change.

Benefits of Memory Care
We believe that every interaction is an opportunity for engagement. We recognize that residents living in our memory care programs thrive because of our compassionate interactions, there are many activities for residents to partake in to keep them cognitively engaged and physically active, despite an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Many of our staff members have worked with us in memory care for decades, so they know how to take care of your loved one. Alzheimer’s and dementia isn’t “one of the things we do,” it’s everything we do in our Modesto assisted living and memory care facility.
Safety and Security
At Orangeburg Manor we know how important it is for our residents to feel at home and feel safe. Alzheimer’s disease affects everyone differently. This is why we approach the move-in of each new resident in a personalized way. We know the more friendly, home-like, and familiar a community environment is the better a person living with Alzheimer’s or other type of dementia feels about moving in and becoming part of community life. In addition, our services plans, staff training and change of condition observations play important roles in the safety and security of all of our residents.
Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia are horrible diseases. And yet, if we allow it, we can find many moments of joy and laughter. Orangeburg Manor is dedicated to supporting residents and family members through the good times and the tough times. We offer family support groups, end of life support programs, expert resources and opportunities for families to just be with loved ones, without a task list.
