The Journal of American Geriatric Society recently confirmed what we already suspected, that music – listening, playing or creating – has a significant effect on cognitive functioning for older adults with dementia symptoms. Portola Gardens is excited to welcome Rosabell as our new Musical Activity Coordinator to help improve the quality of life for our residents through music and activities!

Tanya Benjamin has been part of the Portola Gardens team since 2019 and recently was promoted to
the Move-in Coordinator. She is the point person for everything a new resident or family member needs.
